Thanked: 0Hello Andrew here from Pennsylvania!!
Hey everyone! Just wanted to give a quick shout to all for my first forum post, and soon to be first time straight blade user!
About Me:
Well, I'm a college student, ex-collegiate level soccer player, and current collegiate level climber.
I'm majoring in Computer Science, with a double minor in math & physics!!
Along with sports, and a complex major, I'm a Resident Assistant in my hall, what a great gig to have!
I'm probably on the younger spectrum of this forums, as I'm only 20 years old!
Shaving history:
The summer of 2014, right after I had turned 20, I developed a pretty gnarly case of cellulitis on my left cheek. After a few visits with a surgeon the cellulitis was taken care of, with minor aftermath. He said he believes the cause was an infected hair follicle, and most likely from shaving time after time with a gillete razor and barbasol shaving cream. He told me to stop clean shaving for a while until my face heals properly, and to stay away from those type of razors.
So, after my face was healed I haven't had a "clean shave" since. I've just been using an electric trimmer and keeping a short stubble, afraid to go through that nightmare again. This doesn't bother my face; but it truly does irritate my girlfriends face, as she complains "It's soo scratchy!". Well! Starting VERY soon (waiting for my order to come in) I will be straight blade shaving, and I'm incredibly excited to do so.
Great to meet you all! I'm excited to be here, though, as a college student always on his phone..I wish SRP had a mobile application for the forums. That would be pretty darn cool.

Hi and welcome. if you haven't already check out the beginner's section in the library. Did you get a shave ready razor as factory shave ready is not truly shave ready. If you have any problems or questions feel free to ask.
