Thanked: 0Hello from Ohio!
Hello everyone!
I've just ordered my first straight razor from Straight Razor Designs. A Ralf Aust 5/8 hollow ground Spanish point. I'm looking forward to learning to shave with it.Last edited by tlewis1300; 11-10-2014 at 01:36 PM. Reason: Edited - apparently Ralf Aust and Auto correct do not get along.

Thanked: 0Yes, I must admit to some lurking. I did my homework before buying and found that many of my questions had already been asked, and answered, in the forums here. So, when I decided to dive in I figured I'd join the community.

Welcome to SRP!
Glad that you came out of the shadows and glad to see that you did your homework first. Excellent first razor choice.

Welcome to SRP! Glad to see you did your homework! What else are you planning on using for your first shave?
The older I get the more I realize how little I actually know.

Thanked: 31Your going enjoy the the shaving process and everyone here is nothing but help. From a personal observation I like the looks of those Spanish points, but they don't always like me. Not one I use when in any kind of hurry. For me anyway. Have fun and patience goes a long way.
