Hello and help me with the history of the straight cut razor
Hi,
luap here. I am thoroughly addicted to straight cut razors but want to find out as much history as possible. I assume a lot of the information is here but have yet to navigate the site fully. Please introduce yourself and feel free to provide suitable links with some history or advice on some books.
I'm not looking to collect. I just want to dig out the history. My first target is Erich ERN. I will provide a review of my Erich ERN when it arrives.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

If you click the "library" link on the main tool bar that will keep you busy for weeks...lol. Pretty much anything you could ever want to know. Welcome.

Hello, and welcome to the forum. +1 on the above posts on the library. Also there are a lot of very knowledgeable Members that can help, post a lot of pics, and ask for help, and you will find someone will know something about what ever you ask.
P.S. We very much like pictures!!!!!!We have no control of what other people do or say to us, but we have control to how we REACT !! GOD BLESS

Hi Luap & welcome to the forum. Is there a crown & sword on it? There is a Friedrich Ern or Friedr. Ern made.

Luap,
Rather than us doing the leg work and posting links, try this search function... Advanced Search - Straight Razor Place Forum You'll find many posts that should help your research.
If you don't find it then usually one of the members will have info that may be helpful.
Welcome to the forum, and I hope you find it useful, and enjoyable.
Best Regards,
Howard

Hi and welcome. The search engine is going to be your friend when trying to find out information like history. There is way too much information for linking so searching and reading will be your best bet. Good luck

Thanks. The only problem is I'm having difficulty navigating the website with my iphone! Sadly where I work I cannot access the site; it's been blocked! So will do the best I can with my iphone. All exciting however the information available. Just about finding the time to review. Thanks for your advice
