Hello SRP From Portugal
Hello. I'm new on the website, but I have already learnt a lot, therefore I say a big thanks.
PS. Sorry for my Portuguese brain butchering your language.

Welcome to SRP! Don't worry about the language. You probably speak and write it better than most of us
The older I get the more I realize how little I actually know.

Welcome to SRP!! +1 to what MattCB said... With the continuing popularity of Texting and similar electronic communication, it is rare enough to see anyone using complete sentences anymore.
Happy Shaving!!

Hi & welcome to SRP. There's a wealth of information on here to learn so absorb it like a sponge. You will like it here, everyone is more than happy to help
with any questions you may have. If you buy a good used straight razor, make sure you shop around & know what to look for. You don't want anything with a worn spine & blade from honing. You also don''t want a blade with a frown in it or rust. A rusty edge will just chip mre of the blade off until you have nothing to work with. If you plan on buying a new razor, go to Straight Razor Designs & buy you one there. The Ralph Aust is a great beginners razor plus Lynn, the owner & founder of this forum is also part owner of SRD & he will make sure your razor is shave ready by honing it before it leaves there plus you will get a certificate for a free honing later for when it needs one again. It shouldn't need one for a few months once you get it. Don't forget to get you a shaving brush, mug & soap. You will also want to buy you a second straight razor for when you send one out to be honed, you will still have one to shave with. Go to the Library here & learn how to hone first. That is the first most important thing you will need to now because when you do get a straight, you will need to strop it before & after you shave unless you buy a new one from SRD. You won't need to strop it before you use it but after that you should strop it before & after you use it. Look around in the Library & learn things in there. They will be to your benefit! You may even eventually want to learn to hone your straight yourself but for now should you buy a used one, send it out to be honed by a professional. Please feel free to ask questions. There are a lot of knowledgable people on here.
Good luck & have fun!
