Thanked: 55what a welcome. cheers guys. have trawled second hand shops in sheffield and picked up few razors. they are away for restoration at the mo. Think two at least will be sortable, all were cheap so no loss if not. a bengall(slightly bent blade, may be sortable), a kropp (definitely good), a joseph elliot half wedge?(probably good) and a butler that appears to have no shakespeare quote or pic (if sortable will become a 5/8 from 6/8, some rust right on cutting edge). All this is a beginners opinion, so will see if i'm correct. were the keen cutters also made with nothing on the blade? Cheers again for the lovely welcome, already lost a good few hours just reading through the forums here. Lots of interesting info. Have had a beard for the last 5-8 years and the only way i'm going to be clean shaven is if it is a fun hobby.

Welcome!
I lived in Notts in 2009 - 10. Wish I had been into shaving then. Would have been fun to browse antique shops in the Midlands.
