Welcome. It looks like you have the right idea. Start simple and progress slowly. Sounds like you are no stranger to using your hands. Everything has a learning curve and if you go too fast with using your buffer it will cost you a few blade. I bought some junkers to learn with. They are still around and are great for experimenting on.

Thanks for info. For anyone following this I posted the pictures of the razors here http://straightrazorpalace.com/razor...ale-score.html. Also, the woman at the garage sale said she might have more razors for me to look at so I left my number with her and she called last night. I will be going back out tomorrow because she said she found more of "the bigger ones". I can only think that means more of the wades. I will have to give you guys an update.

You got a smokin' deal!!!!! The two Wade & Butchers were well worth it & you can either restore them or sell them for a good profit, especially the FBU. If she has more of the big ones, you have hit the gold mine. I wish I could run across some deals like that around here & this used to be a little old country town!
