Are Parker DE Razors a good quality safety razor, if not then what are some good brands to buy from?

In my Eyes Parker Razors are OK, good Price for a more or less good Razor but if you prefer a higher quality older Gillette Type Razors or actual Muhle, Merkur, Giesen & Forsthoff, Ikon and some other Razors are those you should have a look on.
Had a Parker at the Beginning Time, wasnt bad but not the quality in Design & Finish im prefering.

If you are buying New current models Edwin Jagger, Muhle and Merkur are all good quality and easy to get hold of,
If you want higher end stuff, Ikon, Above The Tie (ATT), Webber, Pils, Feather I am sure there are others I'm forgetting but they are the main ones. The high end stuff tends to be made of stainless steel.
    Good luck in your purchase.

+1 on all of the above but my go to razor is the Weber stainless steel great quality and reasonably priced. So good I bought a couple.

I consider the Parkers to be ok razors, kind of middle of the road. Great razor for the price. Great entry level DE. It is not over aggressive. There are worse razors and there are better razors. I'd take an old Gillette, Muhle, or Merkur over a Parker, but that is just my preference.
