Thanked: 55Welcome. Is a good description. I tend to shave in the evening now because I find it very relaxing. Enjoy.

"Warm" welcome from Montréal!
Go ahead and start reading the incommensurable amount of information that this forum has to offer. It'll take a while, but it is well worth it.

Bonjour & welcome to the club! There is plenty for you to learn here if you go to the Library:
Straight Razor Place Library - Straight Razor Place Library
You will find everything you need to know & if you get a straight razor the most important thing you will need to know is how to strop. You can use an old wide leather belt & a butter knife to practice because it is very easy to cut a good strop with a straight razor. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask & you will more than likely get many responses. There are a lot of knowledgable & helpful members here so please ask!
It's great to have you here. Good luck!

Bonjour Va2ero,
Bienvenu au monde du coupe-chou, vous verrez que c'est effectivement un art très gratifiant. I was in your part of time over the christmas holidays, enjoyed a tremendous view of Quebec city from charming Vieux-Lévis.
n'hésitez pas si vous avez besoin de conseils.
