    Welcome to SRP! Glad ya came out to play. I'm a little far from you though, at least 250 miles away. I'm in the Houston area. Just go to the Library here & read up on things. If you are looking to get a straight razor, you will need a strop & know how to use it most of all. You will also need a brush & some soap with a soap dish or mug. There are a few things to know but once you learn them, they are quite simple. If you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask.
    There are plenty of knowledgable people here to help out. You won't find a better place for help.
