back straight, never to stray again
hi i'm Ken in north Alabama. 25 years ago I was given a DublDuck and 44/20. Got a strop and black ark stone, but with no teacher things didnt go so well.
Things are different now with all the online help, thanks to y'all I'm pure and undefiled starting Jan 1 of 2015.

Welcome. You should probably start by sending your razor off for a pro honing and finding a mentor might give you a leg up too. There are a lot of friendly people here so enjoy your stay.

We have that start long ago in common. I got my first 30 years ago, but gave up given that there was no place to find help. Came back like you and now with the straight to the end. Readout is right. Send that razor out for a good pro honing.

Welcome to SRP Ken. I hope you still have the duck & tat it didn't get damaged. That's a good New Years resolution to come back to straights & stick with it, learning all you can about them. There's plenty of information & helpful people here so you're in good hands. Keep on & don't give up!
