UK member hello!
Hello,
I am a new member here. I have been traditional wet shaving for a little of the year. I have recently made the transition from DE/SE to straight razor shaving. I have been active on other forums but apparently this is the best for straight razors so as I have made the jump thought I would join here.
The leap to straights has so far been a successful one with only one or two nicks. I have put together a few straights so far.
I am am a massive fan of shaving soaps particularly those with Orange scents or sweet notes. I have tried a huge number of soaps on this journey so far and have whittled it down to about 15 of my true favourites. However I am a sucker for anything new. I also love pre shaves as I think they really do work.
Anyway, I hope that I can learn from you guys.@WindsorCitrus Orange Shaving Soap Lover

Welcome to SRP, from another UK member.
It sounds as if you are off to an excellent start.
Have you tried the Mike's Orange, Cedarwood & Black Pepper soap?David,

Hi welcome to the SRP I think I may have seen one or two of your posts over on the UK TSR forum, talking of orange scents I've just picked up some L'Occitane Cedre & Oranger Edt shower gel and aftershave balm.

The traditional shaving resurgence isn't as big in the UK as it is in the US but there is still quite a few of us. In my opinion, we as british love to hang on to tradition and it is very apparent on UK shaving forums. If we wanted it to become a bigger thing it would have to be more attractive to younger generations (like me). I think the U.S. artisans can help with this, unfortunately, as good as they are, companies like TOBS, Harris, Truffit and Trumpers are a little stuck in tradition.
It is a hard one because we are "traditional wet shaving" after all.@WindsorCitrus Orange Shaving Soap Lover
