Welcome to the forum! Lots of good folks here who like to help. I would recommend two things. Start reading Straight Razor Place Library - Straight Razor Place Library and look for a razor in the site classifieds here Main Index - Straight Razor Place Classifieds
Site members are a safe bet for finding a quality razor. You can find something from $50 on up. Let us know how it goes and welcome! The older I get the more I realize how little I actually know.

Hello, n8mon. Welcome to SRP!
Are you wanting to find a vintage or new razor? I suggest checking out the classifieds here at SRP if you want a vintage razor. If new check out the vendors that advertise here on the forum.

Tell us your budget. Do you want a nice used razor or a new one. Just be sure it arrives with a "Real Shave Ready Edge. If you purchase a new Razor from Straight Razor Designs, you will receive a razor with a "Real Shaving Edge" and treated with impeccable customer service.
A nice used razor purchased from an SRP member on the For Sale Forum will also come with a nice shaving edge.

What sort of budget do you have?
aside from a razor you will need a few other items such as a strop, some soap and a brush as a minimum. There are all the extras like pre/post shave aftershaves etc too.
You can get set up for about $100 but it will limit your options.Bread and water can so easily become tea and toast
