Thanked: 0hello from sunny southern California!
Looking forward to meeting some straight razor enthusiasts in my area riverside ca. I need a honemeister to mentor me! Grandson of a Butcher, I used to hone 20" scimitars in his shop at 8yrs old, but this is a whole new world for me. Looking forward to learning a new art. I've watched all of Lynn's videos, now its time to dive in with a honemeister and get a feel for the craft. Any tips on navigating the site to find local members? Thank!

Just above the ad bar above this post there is a "community" tab, click it and a drop down box will appear, one of the tabs is "member list" click that, then select "advanced search", a variety of search parameters will be available, one of which is "location". You will probably need to try a few different locations ie state, immediate area, surrounding area.
All the best

I am not sure geographically how good it is but Euclid440 is in Brea, knows a lot about honing and is a pretty helpful guy, maybe send him a PM.
