Cool Hello I'm Fred from Alabama

I have gotten some great information so for on SRP, look forward to much more. I am new to Straight razor shaving started in November, great so far. Last night i think i dulled my razor trying to sharpen it on a 4000/8000 then 12000. it was my gold dollar, wont try my Dovo yet. Thanks for all the info.

When you first start out one tends to dull a few.

Gold Dollars CAN be a PITA to hone.

Welcomed aboard Fred.. picked the right razor to practice honing on from my understanding would definitely rather dull that then a better one check to see if there's any groups in your general area that meet up and can help you out I'm a hands on learner and will be attending in my area when I get the opportunity
