    Hi & welcome to SRP. Send the razor out to be honed the first few times as mentioned before you tackle honing yourself. It is possible that when you first stared stropping the razor you could have dulled the edge slightly. Keep practicing honing. You can use a butter knife to practice with to keep from cutting your strop. Watch the shaving videos over & over until you know you get it down right. Have you seen this one yet:



    I have watched Lynn's shaving video's before & he stretches his skin to get a good shave. I'm sure you have had a lot of advice from others here as well.
