About a year and a half. I switched to save money and found I love just about every aspect of it. Shaving, honing, refurbing old razor and making new straights. It all very addictive, but enjoyable. I have however spent considrable more than I ever used to.

If you get a razor that is shave ready & as long as it is honed properly & depending if you have a rotation or if you use it every day, it could be from 1-3 months but that's just my opinion. I could be wrong.
