Welcome to SRP first of all! Second, I'm not far at all from you...I'm from the Hugo/Grant area. Third, I've learned a thing or two about straight razors...how could I be of service?

My wife actually has family in Hugo!

As as far as help goes I can't really figure out how to do my against the grain on my neck. Down is good up is good but going across to get the inside of those hollows just stumps me. Sometimes I can get part of it but there is no good positioning for either of my hands to get it. Although going across from my right side to my left side is better accomplished with my left hand (right hand dominant). Any thoughts?

To be honest, the best way for me to help you is to see you actually shave. Come on down!

That swirly patch by the adams apple is tough to get it all right. I look at shaving as a beard reduction program, where by the third pass I should have it all reduced to nothing. Most of the time it all goes just as planned, sometimes there may be a little left over that I notice when applying aftershave...oh well, till next time. On my neck, I go one pass from north to south, the second and third are pretty much south to north. It's facial contortions and stretching that is the key to getting all the whiskers mowed down...besides of course having a sharp razor.

So basically I'm on the right track it's just figuring out how to contort myself and stretch that portion of skin just right. I can get everything except to the right of my Adam's apple to BBS but that one spot is tricky lol. Thank you for your help and kinda confirming what I was thinking!
