there are a few guys who use magnets to hang razors, Geezer has a special cabinet that he has flush mounted them in. i do like the idea, but would worry about the razor getting knocked off.
i realise a small nudge probably wouldnt do anything but a bit of a knock might. i suppose i should do an experiment with a razor analogue and a magnet.Bread and water can so easily become tea and toast

Thanked: 0After I bought it, I immediately did the "guy" thing, thought about ways to make my own. I have an old vanity cabinet I plan on modding to suit my new hobby. The rare earth magnets sold in local rocks shops here in the Rockies would be ideal, a little epoxy to bond it...but I digress. Thanks for being nice to me fellas! Already enjoying all the info on this forum!

Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Have a look on ebay for n52 magnets. I am using 12mm x 2mm circular ones at the moment to make a knife block. 3 of these will hold my largest knife while the block is held upside down and with gentle shaking.
My wife calls me......... Can you just use Ed

Hi Bill & welcome to SRP. Sorry I was late to the party. There's a wealth of information here so just go through the forum & look through the Library as well. If you have any questions just ask.
