Thanked: 0I'm Brent, this is my introduction.
Hi guys,
I started shaving with a double edge razor about 2 months ago and I am really enjoying it. I started wet shaving because I got sick of having irritation on my neck and dry flaky skin on my cheeks all winter long. So far, its been a lot better. I will be buying my first straight razor and a strop in the next month or two, so I'm reading a lot about it here first. Thanks for all the information everyone.

Thanked: 1936Glad to have you! Before you jump in and buy that razor & strop, read up and ask some questions. There is a LOT of junk out there and it can easily confuse someone new to our sport.

Welcome aboard! Glad to see you are liking the wet shave hobby. There is a bit more of a learning curve with a straight, but in exchange you get more control over your shave.
Keep us informed on how you are progressing.
