Newbie from Bonham TX
Hello all. May name is Leo and I have been looking around for a while now wanting to try this. I have been sharpening my fusion razor on a pair of jeans for about a year now and just refuse to buy any more blades. My last one is just about sharpened out so here I go.
I have my first razor on the way. Hope I am not committing sacrilege using a vintage but found this on Ebay and liked it. Any comments would be appreciated - I prefer honesty please.
Thanks to all in this forum, there is a lot of wonderful information here. Another forum (I won't name) honestly was not as friendly and inviting to newbies from my perspective. I already have learned a lot from the discussions here.

Thanked: 4828Welcome. For a first razor shave ready is super important. You may need to send that to someone. A more specific location can be handy if you are looking for some one on one time or just trying to figure out who is close to send your razor too for honing.

I got my razor on an EBay auction. I ordered a strop and chromium last night from SRD. Lynn's YouTube video and beginners guide were very helpful.
Engine46, thank you for the offer on the brush - that is very generous.Last edited by angileo; 03-05-2015 at 03:33 PM.
