Howdy
Hey Folks,
Got into straight razor shaving about a month ago and I'm HOOKED. Its become the best part of my day and really helps me get out of bed in the morning. Working with Dovo Shavette and the overpriced Art of Shaving beginner kit. Trying to upgrade to a actual razor if the wife every lets me spend the money on one. My shaves are still.. a work in progress.. but they're getting better. Looking forward to meeting people and learning from you more experienced folks, this seems like a great recourse.sharptonn likes this.

Enjoying yourself is the most important part. Hang around, and take your time deciding which way to go when you go to a SR instead of the shavette. Wife being happy is part of the enjoyment. I've given away some Bay Rum aftershave when my wife said "That smells like bug spray." I liked it (and had no bugs hanging around), but after 35 years with her I know when to give in!Just call me Harold
