    Default Hello all from Winnipeg

Just started looking into the straight razor shave after getting the most pampered shave of my life by a wonderful lady doing straight shaves. I know I am not going to do all the nice touches that she did, but the shave result was amazing. Waiting for my new kit to arrive.

Welcome to the forum. Let us know what you ordered for a shave kit. There is a lot of good info in the forums Library and if you have any question the members will be more than happy to try and help you out. I think this http://straightrazorpalace.com/begin...ch-2015-a.html is a very good read for a beginner also.

Welcome. There are quite a few Canadians here and I think there may be others from Winterpeg, and certainly a few from other places not that far from you.
It is a great place to learn. There are many friendly and knowledgable people here.

I went with the Gold Dollar shaving kit from Straight Razor . com I am not going to jump head first into this, and it was a good price, so I picked it up. Probably not the best razor out there I'm sure, and I will look for another upgrade in the near future, but need to get into it somewhere.
