Thanked: 0Hello New Guy from Ontario
Hi everyone.
Probably introduced myself on here a few years ago, but can't remember my account from then.
Been playing off and on with a shavette still havent got the hang of it yet, but been playing around with soaps and other things. Lucked out and found some proraso soap and pre shave cream at the drug store last night. Any chain mall type stores carry old school shaving stuff in canada?
But thought i was ready to get one of my vintage straight worked on, and while i was googling around saw a razor in the classifieds that i liked, so here i am.

Welcome back. There are a number of ontarians on the forum, i think they meet up a bit too, if you could tee up a bit of one on one time With one of them it would make the learning a bit easier

Thanked: 4826Welcome back. There are quite a few wet shave shops in the east. In no specific order there is Classic Edge, Fendrihan, Italian Barber, Men's Essentials, and I'm sure I'v missed a couple. There is also regular get togethers in Ontario, the Greater TO area meet I believe. You have a lot of support out there.

Thanked: 0Hey thanks for the warm welcomes. Well i pulled the trigger and bought a razor out of the classifieds, should be here in a week or two. Still been shaving with my shavette its been getting better less nicks and cuts, but still some, but my shave today feels very close for a single pass. I think I am starting to get the hang of this.
