I started my journey away from cartridges at the beginning of the year with a DE. Everything was good don't get me wrong but my initial goal was to some day start shaving with a straight razor. Thanks to the enablers/good friends over at the shave den I ordered a sight unseen and was sent a bench strop from Drygulch leather works. If I had to guess I have under 10 SR shaves under my belt but I'm loving this journey and it really took off more than DE's ever did. I'm now in search of a second razor and am planning on buying a hanging strop in the near future.

Sorry for rambling it just took me awhile to be able to finally set up an account through my phone. I look forward to making some new friends and sharing my enthusiasm for an art I've come to deeply enjoy.
