Hello from Wyoming Michigan, U S A.
For some silly reason I got the bug to start shaving the "manly"way. I had a long talk with my barber about it and he actually tried to talk me out of it! Across the parking lot from the barber is a new antique shop. I walked in and the first thing I found was a straight razor! I bought it and here I am. I've used it three times and only shed blood once!

Welcome another Michigan member! I am in Lansing now, but lived in Allendale and GR for several years. Lots of good info on here, you will lose hours of your life reading everything on here
What kind of straight did you get? Post some pics if you get a minute.

Hi and welcome. I hope you had the razor pro honed otherwise you are missing out on what can be the best shaving experience. A sharp razor can be shaved with but doesn't compare to a truly shave ready edge. Good luck and any questions feel free to ask.
