Thanked: 0Hey all. Very happy to be here!
I've been interested in learning straight razor shaving for awhile, but I don't want to just jump into it unless I'm sure I know what I'm doing. Hopefully the forums and info on this sight will be enough to make me a pro.

Welcome to SRP. Put in the time and you'll go pro. Try not to do it all at once. Start with shaving, lather building, and stropping.

Thanked: 4828Welcome. It is good to be well informed. There is a lot of good information here and many friendly and knowledgable people. It is kind of like learning to swim and sooner or later you need to get wet in order to finish your education.
It's not what you know, it's who you take fishing!

Welcome! We're glad to have you here.
You'll discover, if you haven't already, that there are a lot of knowledgeable people who are more than happy to share their knowledge and experience with you. All you have to do is ask.
It would be of great benefit to you and us if you'd add your location to your public profile and share a little in your next post about what your experience with shaving is. It would give us the ability to tailor our answers to you personally.Just call me Harold
