    I got it!
I tried the bottom of my neck the other day, and my whole neck today.
And... not one drop of blood so far.
Hopefully I'll be back in a few days, saying the same thing.

Thanks everybody, for all of your help!

Mohalo from a haole on the biggest island of all Australia.

Welcome to the forum and I hope you enjoy the journey, always shave for comfort is my advice to newbie’s. As far as goats milk is concerned I have heard it does not lather up too well, but have never tried it so give us your opinion.
A good lather is half the shave.

I couldn't get the goat milk soap I wanted.
I got some Dr. Bronners unscented bar soap which didn't lather much; so, grated it, added some castor oil, some bentonite clay, kaolin clay, and honey to it... and it lathers like shaving cream!
