Greetings from northern IL.
Hello everyone! I'm a newbie again with straight razor shaving. I started shaving with straight razors when I was a young Marine Officer over 30 years ago and stopped after 6 years. I decided to go back to straight razors and will learn the basics again. Thankfully I don't remember my bad shaving habits so I do look forward to properly learning and enjoying the experience again. SRP has a lot of valuable information and thankful that I can learn through videos over the Internet. I'm looking forward to learning from all of you!

Make sure you read through the beginner's section in the Library and ask any questions that you have.
We'll give you some new bad habits - like buying a few hundred soaps, after shaves, brushes, strops, and razors.
