Greetings from Northern California!
Hello!
Well, like many here I've been lurking the shadows for far too long... Reading posts religiously and typing into g@@gle my key words along with straightrazorplace.com and always learn something new, and or I'm reminded of something I really never meant to forget...
Been SR shaving for about 2 years, and collecting blades (obsession). After a year I began restoring and designing my own wonderful creations at first to help pay for new blades, but just can't seem to let go of them, I love each one too much!!! I've only found the time to restore 5 so far, and I'm very proud of my progress.. but would never have come so far without SRP!
Thank ALL of you! Really I can't stress that enough, I frickin love straight razor shaving, collecting, learning, crafting, and your posts have helped much.
Okay anyway, enough that, I'll see you on the forums!

Oh yes! Pics
I'm trying to figure out how to upload pics with mobile site. So far no luck. My house internet is not working for another week so next (if unsuccessful with mobile) I will try using my phone as a hotspot..
Thanks for the welcome and though I'm not good at taking pics while i work (I have some) , I do have some great pics. I'm going to start with my first razor and progress to most recent..

I live outside Santa Rosa, in the trees. a great area, stays cool in the summer. Visiting friends in Chicago and on somewhat of an antique store roadtrip right now! Most them stripped clean of straight razors though

Welcome Mike. Yup, your right, things are steipped fairly clean. Head to downtown Petaluma. There is an antique shop on Main St. (Not sure of the name, but it's in an old 2 story stone bank) they had quite a few straights last month, and I didn't even see the whole store. Plenty in the downtown area. Santa Rosa should be a fair area to antique in. Try Navato, Ferndale, Sonoma, and if your willing to take a long day trip, Eureka.

Welcome! Love Sonoma co, just unfortunate how terrible the traffic on 101 is north of Novato.
