    Default Greetings From South Carolina

I'm thrilled to join this forum. I have so much to learn from you experienced guys. I've been shaving with a DE (66 Slim) for quite some time. I started my straight journey several months ago with a Parker SR1 shavette. A little over a month ago a bought a 5/8 Boker King Cutter. I honed it myself with 3M lapping films mounted on polished marble tile. I'm pleased with the results. I took Lynn's advice and started with just cheek passes at first. I've eventually worked my way up to a full 3-pass shave. Getting better each day. I'm hooked. Looking forward to checking into forum often to soak up all this knowledge.

Welcome to SRP G2No. Since you have already tested the water & know how to get around on here (I hope), Here are some links to Lynn's YouTube video's & gssixguns honing videos as well:

    https://www.youtube.com/user/LynnSAbrams/videos

    https://www.youtube.com/user/gssixgun/videos

For gssixgun's video's just scroll down to "load more" & you will see them. There is such a great wealth of information on here so learn it, it will benefit you greatly. If you decide to get some hones, buy a cheap razor to practice with.
    Good luck!
