I'm a new user to the forum and also to straight razor shaving. I want to stop spending so much $ on disposable head razors.

Welcome! This forum may not help save you money, but it will help keep you from having crappy shaves. Stay patient, SR shaving requires it, but the pay off is worth it.

It can save money in the long run if he learns to hone a straight razor & has the stones to do it. It will take some learning though & if so I suggest using a cheaper straight to practice with. One of quality steel though...............
