Thread: Hello from NE PA.

Hello to all here.This is a great site and have been checking it out for awhile. Lots'sa info here. Well…. I actually started shaving with a straight when I was old enough to shave. My Dad taught me. Then I went into the Navy and arriving at boot camp I had to send my razor back to my parents along with my civvie stuff. No weapons ya know. They gave me some kind of cartridge razor and I used that. 40 years later I started using a DE razor and graduated to a 1924 Shovelhead and OCMM. On and off in the last year I found your site and am intrigued again. I would really like to get back to how I, my Dad, and his Dad shaved. I wish I still had those razors, but, if wishes were wings…..unfortunately they are lost in the noise of time.I look forward to gaining a lot of info and wisdom from all of you more experienced shavers on this site. I'm glad I joined and am looking forward to go back to the beginning.
