Thanked: 0Just got a starter kit
I've been looking into shaving with a straight razor for some time thought if not now then when. I've been looking at custom straight razors for the future I'm really liking the non folding (kimasori) razors my favorite ones are from sage blade so far.

Hi and welcome. You may want to start with something a little less expensive and less learning curve to start until the rookie mistakes have all been made. Any questions feel free to ask.
My wife calls me.........Can you just use Ed

Welcome to SRP! Remember this time when you have just 'one' razor that you are primarily coveting rather than dozens of Razors, gaggles of Strops, oodles of Soaps and drooling over the latest Eyebrow Wax.
On second thought... Ya know it's not too late to just walk away and live life a'la Dan Haggerty. :-)
Totally kidding... Enjoy the ride and the subsequent credit card statements as it is totally worth it!!
