New member from France, but old to wet shaving !
Hi there !
New here, but not on other forums, I chose to come here because as they say, the more the merrier ! I'm Thomas, French, I have been wet shaving for more than 5 years now. I started with a brush and kept my cartridge razor (I am 27 so at the time my stubble was not a stubble, it was quite the desert). Then I tried the DE from time to time, than full time, and now I am completely corrupted by the RAD, owns too many DE to count, and a lot of straights too. I accumulated a lot of things to create a small collection of DEs I liked, and as I did, I sumbled upon a lot of straights too, so I thought I should give them a try !
I work for an online retailer of gentlemen grooming products, so I must admit it "helps" my RAD... but it's the reason I discovered wet shaving !
Across the years I found many Leresche razors, which are now the center of my collection. I started to make an "archive" of some sort to try and catalogue them. I can't post links as of now, but if you look for a Leresche Archive, you might find it
Anyways, thank you for having me here, have a nice day and a good shave !

Hi Thomas & a warm welcome to SRP. Since you have been on other forums, you may have some knowledge on shaving with a DE & also a straight but I'm sure you will find this one with an almost endless wealth of knowledge so just click on the Library above & go from there. If you have any questions just ask. I have several French razors I bought in a small lot of straights once & although I have not restored all of them yet, every one of them has been of excellent quality already. Thank you for sharing your information. We would like to see some pics of your collection when you have time to show them. I am very interested in French straight razor's.
Good luck my friend.
