Thanked: 0Hello from South Louisiana
Hello, name is Joe. I live in Pearl River, LA. I have been collecting Case XX knives for years and just bought my first straight razor.
I have been looking into starting to use a straight razor when I found this place. I have read around for a little while but just joined today after getting my first razor last night. You can see the thread in the Razor section of the forums where I asked a question about it.
Thanks for having me.

Thanked: 56Welcome! Lots of good information here. Switching from cartridge razors to straights can turn a chore into a daily pleasure. I look forward to shaving each day now.

Hi Joe & welcome to SRP. Probably the best place to start is in the Library in the Beginners Guide & work your way from there. I know you will ask questions because you have worked your way to the razor section which I will go look at now.
Good luck my friend.

Welcome to SRP! With a little cleaning and a good honing that should be a great starter razor.
