Thanked: 0New from Texas
Stumbled across this forum as I began researching shaving with a straight razor. I have been wet shaving with my grandfather's old Gillette for a few years now, but I feel like a new challenge is warranted.

Hello. Welcome to Straight Razor Place.
You've probably already seen the library but check out the Getting Started section if you haven't already and don't hesitate to ask questions.

Thanked: 1936Welcome my neighbor, what part of the great State are you from? If you are from the NE TX area, maybe we can meet up & I can show you the ropes. Until then, education is king & we will gladly help you learn to "properly" shave like a gentleman.

Hi & welcome to SRD from one Texan to another. As you can see, there is a wealth of information here & more is added each day. When you go into the Library, check out the Beginners guide. Here are a couple links that might interest you:

Thanked: 0I'm in Frisco, just a bit north of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metromess...Thanks for the kind words and encouragement. This could all be a little daunting, but then I like a challenge. Looking forward to learning as much as possible and making that first straight razor purchase!!!
