Greetings from West Virginia!
Hello everyone, I'm completely new to this forum but not entirely new to straight shaving. I DE shaved for 2 years before I dove head first into straights and never looked back. I've been at it for about a year now and enjoy it more every day. My first straight is pictured here (dubl duck w/ custom made scales) and I have one other sight unseen from whipped dog. Also one in the mail (Joseph Elliott). I do my own touch up honing with a Norton 4k/8k but would love to start restoring some old blades.
Oh and I have a serious problem involving soaps. I love all of them too much and want everything. I'd say I'm in good company here, haha.

Hello JGUN ! Here you will find the consummate source of information on all things related to straight razors . If it has been done, or can be done there will be a SRP forum member to answer your questions. I am constantly amazed at the depth of knowledge , skill, and willingness to share that is exhibited here. Welcome , and enjoy . Oh...by the way it's good to see another Mountaineer join the club !

Hi JGUN & welcome aboard. Well you already know some about this but there's plenty to learn here. If you want to start restoring, look in the Library here. Also here is a link that might help:

Welcome to the forum from Wales. You can never have enough soaps/creams. SWMBO says otherwise, but she's wrong! There should be plenty here to keep you interested and feed your ADs. Good luck.
