Thanked: 28Welcome....just keep at it. A little but often I always say. You will have good and great days and really bad days. Two weeks ago I had the bad day and thought I would give up on the SR. Now the last 2 days have been the best 2 I ever had. I went out in public with a SR shave that required no DE touch up.
One thing that helps . Look at you beard and notice how it is growing. Shave with the grain in the direction that it is growing in. Made a big difference in my shave. Shaving with the grain is 95 % of the shave.
Keep at it you will be fine.

Thanked: 2Thank you.
I've found that a lot of the basics I learned with prep and beard growth for DE apply directly to SR. Just need more time in with the SR. I don't plan on going back to any other method. [emoji106]🏻

Hi & welcome to SRP. Sorry I'm late for the party but I've been under the weather & the last couple days kinda been crazy. You'll be okay, like everyone else said, just take it slow & practice w/o the blade in the feather. I'm sure you have seen the Library here but if not, start with the Beginners Guide & go from there. Such a wealth of information here, you won't go wrong & before you know it, you'll be getting the smoothest, closest most comfortable shaves soon!
Any questions, just ask like you did originally.
Good luck my friend.
