Thanked: 0New UK member reporting in...
greetings and salutations all,
been meaning to sign up here for a while now, so finally did it and here i am. been wet shaving with cartridges & disposables for over thirty years and switched to DE razors about 18 months ago with the intent of getting my prep well practised and second nature before hitting the straights.
been straight shaving for about two months now, using three vintages (Fawsitt's Prize 7/16, Horne Bros 5/8 and my favourite Joseph Rodgers 6/8 near wedge), and a Bluebeards Revenge shavette, which I have a growing dislike for, as the 1" slice on my jawline will testify.
have a re-worked Gold Dollar 66 on the way too - looking forward to that.
looking forward to taking part!
cheers
Mark

Hi Mark & welcome aboard. There is a wealth of information here so as markbignosekelly said, start in the Library & if you haven't seen this yet, go to the Beginners Guide & work your way from there. Everyone here has already been helpful so just click on anything you can & it will lead you to places you have never seen before. Any questions, just ask.
Good luck my friend.

Welcome to the forum Mark. Lots and lots of info on here to answer most queries, but if you need anything specific, just ask. Always someone helpful to answer you. Where exactly in the UK are you? There may be someone near you to tutor/mentor you. That one to one experience is invaluable. Good luck.
