Hello from New Mexico
Been lurking around for a little while and finally clicked the register tab. Fairly new to the wet shaving lifestyle. Bought a cheap DE and a blade sampler online a little over a year ago and have consistently had some of the best shaves of my life. I like the fact of telling friends and coworkers that I haven't had to buy blades in over a year. One of the things that got me on this adventure were sites like SRP. Im hoping to add a good SR to my collection and become proficient in that as well.
Thanks
Phil

Hi Phil & welcome to SRP. You seem to have done quite well using a DE razor. Beats the cartridge type by a long shot & a lot cheaper to maintain. You can learn more about straight razors by starting in the Library if you haven't yet, in the Beginners Guide & continue from there. The next most important tool to have with a straight is a good strop. You will learn that in the library as well. Be patient & take your time & you'll be okay. Great to have you here.
Good luck my friend.
