Hello,
I've been wet shaving for nearly my entire adult life always using either a DE or SE. Expanding my horizons and looking into straight razor shaving.
As an aside I've been collecting and restoring vintage razors and brushes for the last couple of years. I do this for my own enjoyment not as a business. Along the way I've encountered some beautiful straight razors but have held off on them due to my liking to use what I collect.
Thank you for having me!
Adam

Hi and welcome. Never to late to start with a straight. At least you have the prep, lather and growth patterns figured out so all you need is stropping and practice actually using a straight. Good luck and any questions feel free to ask.

Hi Adam & welcome aboard. Sounds like you might enjoy the use of a straight. You get a much closer smoother shave with one than any other razor when honed & stropped right. Like a few have said, it's never too late! Start in the library if you haven't yet in the Beginners Guide & go from there. You'll learn a lot. Hope you have a strop, if not, you will need one most importantly if planning on sing a straight. Since you don't use one yet, this would be the prefect opportunity to learn how to strop & you can practice with a butter knife so you don't cut your strop. Even if that were to happen, yo can snap it out or glue it back down but accidentally cutting one will dull your edge so practice helps. Great to have you here & let us see some of your straights.
Good luck my friend.
