Thread: Hi from Kherson, UA

Hi razor funs ! My name is Dimon. That was one day at 2010, thet times I was live far away from civilization and very limited budget, I consider to buy my very first old used razor. It was made in USSR at 1955, has a narrow blade, rust corrupped a lot. After long time sharpening, at last I got a good tool ! My first shaving was not so good as expected, many wounds everywhere..blood, pain. Just now, two days ago I achieved my shaving good enough as I want. Almost 6 years has gone, now I have 5 sharpened razors but I think it isnt best and might be better, I feel it.

Hi Dimon & welcome aboard. You will get better in time. Have you gone to the Library & read the beginners Guide yet? If not, you might get something from it. Also just be patient, take your time & you will be okay. Your straight razor knowledge will get better also so ask plenty of questions & you will get plenty of answers. Great to have you here.
