    Default Greetings from Arizona

    Hi all,

I have been a DE shaver for several years now. With Christmas coming up and being hard to buy for, I finally decided to take the plunge and go to the next level and gave Santa-Wife a wish list... An entry level Dovo and strop. I have already sourced a professional that will hone the razor straight out of the box. I figure I need to know what a proper blade feels like before I start learning...

I have been lurking on the forum for several months, and am impressed with the depth of knowledge that is displayed. I look forward to seeing what new thing 2016 brings!

    Merry Christmas!
    -K

Welcome to SRP!! You definitely are taking the path of least resistance so, your lurking has paid off already!!

Be sure to keep an eye out here:

    Get Togethers and Meetings

... in the "Get-Togethers & Meetngs" sub-forum... Going to a Meet and getting to see things hands-on as well as meeting/talking with other Members is a great way to increase both knowledge and fun! I believe there was a So Cal Meet or talk of one last year and Arizona would be a great place to try to get one going... Tuning the vibrations from Sedona through your razor as you shave would be Next Level Shaving for sure!!

Enjoy your journey and happy shaving in the New Year!!

    Shawn

Yes, the depth of knowledge IS impressive here, and without it a lot of us would have probably gave this up. Hope you have many smooth shaves to come.
