Thanked: 55As mentioned, have a read of the library. You will have many more specific questions after. I'm a vintage razor lover. Would recommend the classifieds here to find some nice ones. .My favourite soaps are proraso red and figaro by tcheon fung sing. Sandalwood and marzipan.
Greetings, enjoy the journey to great shaves."Ignorance is preferable to error, and he is less remote from the truth who believes nothing than he who believes what is wrong."-Thomas Jefferson (Notes on Virginia, 1782)

Hi mlucassr & welcome aboard. There is a lot to learn here & like Hirlau said, the Library is a good place to start. Just be patient & take your time & you will be okay. You can practice stropping with a butter knife until you get that task down to the way you like it. Any questions just ask. There are very many knowledgable members here. Great to have you.
Good luck my friend.
