Default New to straight razor shaving

I'm Steve, Just wanted to introduce myself to the site and looking forward to refining my technique and after that elusive BBA shave. I just purchased a new professionally sharpened Dovo Black Ebony Bismarck from Lynn Abrams. Along with a Straight Razor Designs 3" Black Latigo strop with leather handle, back strop variation matched webbing.
Also, purchased a vintage Wade & Butcher 6/8" razor as a second to my new collection. Got a couple of good Badger brushes and shaving cream , pre shave oil and good after shave balm. Been practicing on a dovo shavette. Must say its not that bad for what it is. Anyways, That's my initial setup. Ready to enjoy the Art of Shaving.

Hi and welcome. Sounds like you are set and done your research. Keep a lower angle with the straight and good luck with your shaves. Any questions feel free to ask
