Thanks eddy79. I used some Mother's polish to clean it up. I have seen some use a dremel tool with a soft cloth. I found a honing service in AZ that I am going to visit the week.

With a dremel most would use a felt wheel but you need to be careful os speed causing heat and the direction of rotation or you can snap a blade in an instant.

Is it a razor service and not a knife place. Always good to ask to make sure it's hand honing on stones. Been more than a few guy's caught out.

Hi & welcome aboard. I lived in the Phoenix area for awhile & I miss it there. I still have friends in Anthem. I love the Cave Creek area also.
You will love this site more & more each time you come back because you always will see something new. That Imperial Razor looks great to me. I don't see any hone wear on it plus it is probably made in Germany which is a good thing. You want to practice your stropping & you can use a butterknife for that so you don't cut a strop up & dull a good edge. Just take your time 7 be patient & you will be okay. Great to have you here.
    Good luck my friend.

Thanks Engine46 for the tips! I live in Peoria, been here all my life. I have a cabin up in Pinetop, that is where I found this razor.
