Thread: Hi from Pennsylvania

been lurking for a while. tried my hand at DE shaving off and on for the last two years, and finally decided to make the plunge into the world of straight razor shaving. i have 5 straight shaves under my belt (or chin) so far--already feel MUCH more comfortable with the blade in my hands.

thanks in advance to everyone for their input into this forum. looking forward to learning the "old school" method of shaving. the journey has begun...

Welcome. Study the info in the library. Concentrate on the shave and strop until you are fully comfortable. Then start honeing with a cheap razor.
