Thanked: 3Hello from Mississippi
Guys,
I am new to this but have always been interested. Lately I find myself reading and watching videos on everything from brushes, soaps, honing, shaving, stropping, etc. I am eager to get started and will be keeping an eye on those classifieds.
Looks like this site has information on everything that I need to know.
Thanks,

Thanked: 250Welcome to the site. You will find that a straight razor will turn a cursed morning chore into something you really look forward to and a straight razor is like potato chips...........you can't have just one.

Thanked: 3I have been reading and am excited. I am a collector by heart so I am sure I will have fun. I have been looking for a razor, hone, and strop. I am a tinkerer so a fixer upper is what I need as I will have as much fun refurbishing as I will shaving. There is a lot to take in when learning about the type razor one needs, the brand of razor, the maintenance and all that goes with it.
I have my grandfathers old brush, cup, and safety razor so I will enjoy getting them out and utilizing what I can.
Thanks to all.

Welcome, and enjoy a very relaxing journey. Ive been at it since I was 17, now 47.
Since joining a year ago, things have gotten so much better in all aspects of wet shaving. Theres alot of great folks here to help with any questions, on any subject.
