Welcome to the forum. I belong to a lot of forums specialized to my interests but I have to say that NONE of them are as fun, helpful, and polite as this one.

Hi Uzi & welcome aboard. Sorry I'm late to the party. Looks like you picked a good place to buy your straight razor from. It's also good you watched Lynn's Youtube video & I hope you subscribed to them. They are very helpful & I even go back & watch them from time to time. I like your wit. You're going to fit in fine here. Great to have you. Any questions, just ask.
    Good luck my friend.

No sorry, I don't do shaving selfies. However, all you need to do is hone a Scandi grind Mora for example, just like you do a razor (bevel angle excepted) and it will be as sharp as a razor. All my knives are kept sharp enough to whittle hair. Sharpness isn't really the issue with knife shaving. The issue is blade width and geometry. You can baton wood with a skinning knife and you can skin an animal with a camp knife, it's not that they won't do it and do it pretty well, it's just that's each blade is designed for different tasks and you're best off when you use the right blade for the job at hand. That's why I got a straight razor. It's ergonomically much easier, and probably safer, to shave with one.
