Thanked: 1hello
Hi all!
Just wanted to say hello to everybody, this introduction is long overdue.
I started Real Shaving (tm) a few years ago, first with a Dovo shavette, and with a feather SS kamisori, and a few DE (merkur, edwin jagger), and... a few others with non-interchangeable sharp bits *hanging head in shame at the long list*
Anyway thank you for the good and helpful posts!
Cheers,
Thierry

Thanks for coming out of the shadows and welcome to the forums.
That's not a long list of sharp bits, that's a beginner's list. You need more!!!Some people never go crazy. What truly horrible lives they must lead - Charles Bukowski

Thanked: 1Haha busted
you guys know too well how it works!
Got no more space for new soaps right nowmostly TOBS, and proraso in the plastic box for travelling, or a wee bottle of shaving oil.
Any recommendation?
Also, is there anybody from Dublin or Budapest who would help a beginner face to face?

Welcome to SRP. Do you own a straight razor yet or are you still using the DE's and shavette?
